Petit Victor Hugo
Bringing back to life an address as emblematic as Petit Victor Hugo is always a particular challenge. This western Parisian brasserie, known by all the regulars of the neighborhood, deserved a renovation worthy of its history.
Under the artistic direction of Laura Gonzalez, we accompanied the construction site from A to Z, from the deconstruction phase to the opening. Our mission was to coordinate all the trades to transform an old space into a contemporary and elegant brasserie, while respecting the warm soul of the place.
The generous volumes and the large glass roof have been redesigned to bathe both floors with natural light. The monumental bar, centerpiece of the restaurant, required meticulous execution and perfect synchronization between stonemasons, carpenters and electricians. The seats with graphic fabrics and enveloping woodwork bring a refined seventies touch, faithful to the architect’s vision.
Beyond aesthetics, we have ensured the functionality and durability of the layouts: optimization of technical networks, acoustic comfort, smooth circulation between room, patio and terrace. Every detail was followed with rigor, because behind the apparent conviviality of a brewery, there is a precision mechanism that must work flawlessly, from morning to evening.
Today, Petit Victor Hugo is once again a vibrant place to live, capable of hosting both daily appointments and large festive tables. A project where craftsmanship, architectural direction and construction management met to restore all its brilliance to this Parisian institution.
